crabs and panda bears

just got back from a trip to LA and San Diego. Man, why do I always get sick going to and fro vacay? Perhaps because I opt for wellness instead of airborne. will have to switch it up for next time...

i didn't get to do any shopping on this trip so sorry to report any LA store updates.

but i did eat like a queen, as usual.

this is from a korean crab house on Fisherman's Wharf in Redondo Beach. Each crabs like 30 bucks but so succulent and worth the price and water weight.

no playing around here. we just hammered those suckers. sorry, vegan friends.

i wasn't adventurous enough to try these baby octopus. i usually don't mind eating seafood with their faces still attached but this was a bit too much for me.

and after you polish off the crabs and lick your fingers, this spicy fish soup will have you licking your spicy smacks all day long.

compare to my fave Joe's Stone crabs down in South Beach, Miami. Holla! they're closing for the season soon so make reservations if you have plans to hit south beach soon.

oh, and there are plenty of food photos from my trip to San Diego but no time for that right now.

went to the zoo and i'll leave you with this photo of the panda bear.

want more pandas? check out last year's litter
